Overview
The Kalanagari Kolhapur International Film Festival (KKIFF) invites filmmakers from across the globe to take part in an intense and immersive 72-hour mobile filmmaking challenge.
Participants will conceptualize, shoot, and edit a short film within 72 hours, pushing the boundaries of creativity under time pressure.
The Challenge
The Themes
All participants must create a film based on one of the following genres:
- Horror – Fear, suspense, the unknown
- Drama – Emotion, conflict, human depth
- Slice of Life – Real, raw, everyday moments
Your story must clearly belong to one of these categories.
Rules & Guidelines
- Films must be shot entirely on mobile devices
- Resolutions accepted: 1080p, 2K, 4K
- No pre-recorded footage allowed
- Editing is permitted (mobile or desktop)
- Content must be original and created within 72 hours
- Participants may be asked to submit raw footage for verification
- All films must include English subtitles
Awards
Selected films will be officially screened at KKIFF.
